Meditation – A Useful and Powerful Spiritual Tool for Children and Youth

Meditation with all of its benefits has finally gone mainstream (see link below) . It is one of the most useful tools for achieving inner joy, peace and calm that a child, youth or adult can have in their toolbag. Meditation is simple and has no cost. It is perhaps the most powerful spiritual exercise to strengthen both emotional states (increasing joy, calmness, harmony, peace while displacing anxiety, stress and depression) in the brain as well as to have a child connect deeply with themselves and the Universe/Spirit. At a time in the Western world when more and more children and youth are being put on pharaceutical drugs for anxiety, depression and stress, meditation is a no cost simple much powerful alternative. According to a Harvard Medical Study, more than 6 million Americans are prescribed meditation by their conventional health care providers. Meditation has lifelong benefits without the negative side effects of drugs. Meditation increases a child and youth’s resilience and capacity to deal with life’s ups and downs. As the video shows it changes our brainwaves. On a greater scale when enough people have the brainwaves states of love, peace, joy and compassion, there will be global peace.
